This illustration is drawn from a series of images relating a presentation of a 3D animation project that my company is realizing as self promotion.
The girl is one of the main characters, a robot with the body being upgraded.
The character wears, in different moment of the story, many different types of metallic masks.
At the moment she just chose one and is solding it on her face.
The design comes from my illustration and a 3D model used subsequently for the poster and the animation in the 2004-2005 editions of the "Virtuality Conference, now" View Conference ".
To make this image I did use Maya to model it and Photoshop to mount the different rendered levels.

The Music Lesson

THE MUSIC LESSON:
The woman is a teacher, she is reading a musical score, but the students are distract during lecture and who follows the lesson doesn't understand. There's a lot of distraction, animals offer apples in the memory of the original sin (in this case the sin is the music) and others exhibits new laws manuscripts (no music, silence please).
In the foreground some people discusses on possession of a clarinet and another, more hidden, he's playing a flute disturbing the lesson.
The woman is angry most for her impotence.
The first question was: Does music bring species of the whole universe closer to each other?
In their own way, I'd say yes.
But now the question is: are alien able to learn music then ?
Douglas Adams would ask to his computer "Deep Thought",
but it would take too much time. I let you give the answer.
